Cape Coral one of the best places to retire? says so.  The website associated with the national business publication ranks Lee County's biggest city No. 8 out of 25 from across the nation as a desirable retirement destination in 2016.

It's also the first Florida city mentioned in its announcement on Monday, 04/11/16.

Forbes notes that retirement for most people means "less income, but more time to do what they choose."

A logical response, according to Forbes: "Move to a place with lower costs and attractive lifestyle features."
